    Yeah, that is slow. With an SSD, that would be 25% of that - or less. I managed 23 seconds.

    I did a test on my dual boot PC and got these figures:

    I'd also like to note that in both cases, the figures shown are not entirely accurate, as it took a bit longer than shown before programs could be opened normally. With Windows 8, it took a somewhat longer for this to happen than with Windows 7.

    I do not run an SSD, but the comparison is revealing.

    10 seconds must be a challenge. I got down to 18, but that was it. I'd like to see Event 100 for the 10 seconds.
