I am trying to disable FamilySafetyAOT in perfmon, but I fail.
It can be stopped, but it can not be Disabled, no matter, what I do.
It will not let me and I can not take ownership, nor change permissions.
I have disabled pretty much all non-necessary logging, but this is bugging me.

Try to set Start to 0 in this registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\WMI\Autologger\FamilySafetyAOT and Enabled=0 for every subkey.

LoL. I have actually disabled Readyboot like that, but I have not even tried it.
Changing registry permissions did the trick and it is disabled. Thank you.

Try to set Start to 0 in this registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\WMI\Autologger\FamilySafetyAOT and Enabled=0 for every subkey.

When I try that I get an access error. Looking at the permissions for FamilySafetyAOT I see that admin does not have write permission, trying to change THAT also results in an access error. Looking at the permissions for AutoLogger admin has write permission.

Since this is a regular problem I encounter, what do I do to setup the permissions appropriately so I can change values down here and elsewhere; I should mention that I am hesitant to change ownership (if I can, didn't try).
