Is there a way? I noticed compositing makes browser scrolling laggy on my netbook (GMA 3150) and takes up memory. So I would want to know before reverting to Windows 7 there.
If I kill dwm.exe then I can glimpse the basic theme for a second before dwm restarts.
I searched and found nothing, so I believe there is no way but asking won't hurt me. Thank you.
