I am trying to create a system image of my C Drive (Currently a Samsung 840 EVO SSD) to an external HDD. When I try to do this I get the following error:
"The backup failed.
There was a failure in preparing the backup image of one of the volumes in the backup set.
Additional Information:
The I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request."
Can anyone help me with this problem? I am currently using windows 8.1 using an Inspiron 7720, Intel Core i7-3630QM CPU, 8gb ram,
I haven't created a system image in awhile and figured my SSD may be going because when playing games recently I have been getting a stutter every couple of minutes and figured the drive is failing. Or is this caused by something else?
Thanks in advance for all the help!
