I'm pretty new to all of this and have a question.

I am trying to repair corrupt Windows Store files and SFC or DISM is unable to find them.
Here is a list from the DISM log. Does anyone know what these files are and where to source them?

Thanks

I am trying to repair corrupt Windows Store files and SFC or DISM is unable to find them.
Here is a list from the DISM log. Does anyone know what these files are and where to source them?

I suggest you run this batch file As Administrator & read the results in the CMD window & post a screenshot of the entire window.
You can drag the sides to make it bigger so all the text is showing.

View attachment dism.bat

It takes about 2 hours to finish.
You can leave it run in the background until it finishes.

It contains 4 commands & a pause so the CMD window doesn't disappear when it finishes.

Thanks, I will try that and post the results. Meanwhile I have found that the files are associated with net framework 4.5

I'm guessing the /StartComponentCleanup will fail, too. I just ran it and got:

Code:
The restore operation failed. Either the repair source was not found or the component store cannot be repaired.
What a crap tool.

    Is anyone actually reading this?
I am running it as of now.
I had a tiny glitch so I decided to run it.
I like small problems to not become big problems. :)

I am watching a movie on Netflix.
Running it has not affected the quality of the movie.

@ GShark
Have you rebooted after running the tool? Also sometimes just running sfc/scnnow in admin command prompt 2-3 times and rebooting after each one can repair stuff. You have to reboot because there's things windows can't repair online(meaning windows is active) and must be corrected before all system services are active. You could also try it in safe mode.

Happy to report that I ran the refresh utility (Win 8.1 pro) with my Windows disk and the process fixed the bad net framework files. It kept my installed programs and all I had to do is tweak a few settings when it restarted. SFC now shows 100% after the file check.

FYI, no amount of futzing around with net framework would fix the errors. The Microsoft utility and another by a fellow named Aaron had no effect. The refresh process did the trick.
