My computer is acting oddly!

I have to make this as brief as possible, since I'm forced to use my phone to post this and I don't have a lot of data usage.

Basically put, something unusual happened to my PC. It started yesterday as of this post, the internet would at completely random intervals disable completely, then cheekily fix itself before I finish running the network diagnostic to see what is the issue.

I tolerated with this for a while, I assumed it was a simple case of replacing old cabling. I was using an Ethernet cable, so i simply went to replace the old one, but it didn't fix the problem. I then asked my internet service provider if anything is wrong on their end, they say it is working fine, and that if i can switch devices to see if the problem is my computer (i'm living alone with no spare devices lying about, so that's a bust). Tried everything I could think of. Restarting the computer, updating my files, system restore (not necessarily in that order), then it came to a head when for some reason a good portion of my programs refused to even open, including Google Chrome so I had to resort to writing this on my phone.

I do hope my computer hasn't died or anything, it's not even used longer than two years. Even some kind of help would be appreciated.
Oh, and given everyone is posting specs, i'm using an Acer laptop, specifically Aspire V5-572G, with all the components as it is, running Windows 8 64-bit.

Have you tried refreshing it? A lot of times that helps.

Like i said though, whatever is causing my internet to screw up is causing me to not be able to access Google Chrome.

@Willian
Doesn't refreshing remove all the apps? I don't have everything to reinstall all the apps, so i didn't try it.
@David
Think you can write down the .bat on a post? I'll copy it manually that way.

sfc /scannow
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
sfc /scannow
pause

No, refreshing doesn't remove your personal settings. Resetting does.

Whatever the .bat file did, it worked partially. I managed to get the downed programs working again but the internet connection is still infuriatingly unstable.
If it means anything, the first verification picked up corrupt files which it cannot repair, and the RestoreHealth part failed to work because of an error regarding a failure to download the source files.

(Or to be more specific, the RestoreHealth part vomited out this technobabble:
Error: 0x800f0906

The source files could not be downloaded.
Use the "source" option to specify the location of the files that are required to restore the feature. For more information on specifying a source loacation, see Configure a Windows Repair Source.

The DISM log file can be found at C:\WINDOWS\Logs\DISM\dism.log)

I'm no computer prodigy, but I'm pretty sure the .bat was trying to download files to fix the faulty files which were causing the internet to go wonky in the first place, which heavily interferes with actions such as downloading files. Is this what they call a Catch 22?
Still, having restored partial internet functions allowed me to post this, so I'm wondering if something else can be done.

Well, sorry for the double posting. Given that I didn't get a reply for a day since my last post, I took matters into my own hands to attempt to isolate the problem myself.

After refining on the errors I got attempting to repair the computer, and digging through Google for guides on repairing the system (You would not believe how many bogus guide sites were there!), I noticed that there are a few corrupted files that the scan picked up:

ChsPinyin.lm
icrav03.rat

Amd64\CNBJ2530.DPB

I read somewhere that Amd64\CNBJ2530.DPB in particular occurred in a LOT of Windows 8 systems. Someone even wrote a program to un-corrupt that file as well as repair systems in general. I ran that, and the file in question was repaired. However the ChsPinyin.lm file and two instances of the icrav03.rat file stayed corrupted, and the program recommended me to get the Windows DVD to repair that (which unfortunately I don't have).

I would like some help on mending those remainder files. By my observation, the ChsPinyin.lm file handled something to do with Simplified Chinese text, while the icrav03.rat files handled Internet Explorer ratings which I assume MAY be the root cause of my severely unstable internet connections.

hey buddy you need to make sure all 3 of those commands run with no error displayed.

(dism and sfc /scannow)

make sure all those commands in that bat file run and complete and run the sfc /scannow 2 times atleast.. restart in between..

you should not be seeing errors at all..

also start looking into resetting your entire network.. I think there was a post even on here about resetting your complete network.. something like :

reset network windows 7
UPDATE: On Windows 7, you'll need to do this to reset your network adapters:
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
nbtstat -R
nbtstat -RR
netsh int reset all
netsh int ipv4 reset
netsh int ipv6 reset
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
Now, reboot and pray. Possibly not in that order..

-- also now you need to start virus scanning cause it's definitely unusual..

download and run:

HitmanPro 3 - SurfRight

https://www.malwarebytes.org/

Free Virus Scan | Online Virus Scanner from ESET

now go back and do all this, make sure when you run Sfc /scannow it actually finished and says no error! and the dism commands.

don't come back here till you dont' have any error from those..

ok..

just kidding,

you can come back here if you need help

[DEL]if you still have issues, you need to try your computer or another computer (maybe a friends laptop) on your router and also you need to try your computer on another router (if it's a laptop)[/DEL]

otherwise buy a $12 usb wireless stick from bestbuy and try that wirelessly..
