I have a question to ask. My laptop is clocked at 1.7GHz. Which is .30 GHz below normal laptop clock level. I heard that you can clock my processor (AMD A8-5545M) up to 2.7GHz. This is also a Laptop only processor. I have a Dell Inspiron M731R and was wondering if I could overclock it to anything above 2.1GHz without having to use an extrernal fan or cooling pad to prevent or slow down overheating. My laptop is slow and I want to have faster gameplay. I have a 17.3" display and I really wanna overclock it. WITHOUT 3RD PARTY SOFTWARE! Please! And if I can but can't without overheating, is there a cheap, really good gaming external fan/cooling pad I could use that is under 40$? Thanks!
