Should Windows RE tools drive be optimized?

I have just defragged my laptop and in the Optimize Drives it reads that the drive, Windows RE tools, needs optimization. I thought this drive should not be optimized so why does it say that it Needs optimization (17% fragmented).

I've just started using Backtrack 5 r3, and am finding cool ways to test how secure my PC is. There are many programs in it that can hack past my windows 8, but can I use that in a reverse way to make it more secure? I guess in ways to self patch the holes and cracks in it? And what do you...
