SFC Scan Cannot Fix some Corrupted Files

Hi there. Not entirely sure if this is the right section to post in but basically I ran an SFC Scan and it reported that it couldn't fix some corrupted files. I was wondering if someone could help me fix this.

I would attach the CBS.zip to this post but for some reason its not allowing me. Perhaps becuase its 9.64 MB in size. So I may need help with that too . Thanks.

    Welcome to the forum!

Do a DISM restore health as outlined here: DISM - Fixing Component Store Corruption in Windows 8

    This command line: Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

As popeye has said, run the DISM command, please note it may appear to be frozen at 20%, let it complete. Rerun the SFC command afterwards then reboot.

Thanks for the welcome! It seems to have worked. It says the operations was completed successfully and the component store corruption was repaired. Is that all there is to it?

    Yep.

Now run sfc /scannow since dism fixed the store.
