My computer doesn't stay asleep

I don't know if this belongs here, so if not, move it to the right place.

Anyway, for a while now, my computer won't go to sleep. Once I hit the sleep button, it will go to sleep...for about a couple/few minutes, then wake up. I don't know, but also it even doesn't go back to sleep mode when after staying on for a long while. It wasn't working on anything, it was at the start menu where you go to click "sleep". I don't know how to explain this. Please help me.

As long as your power options are set correctly, however, if maintenance tasks or scans that are running in the background it will wake up. Another item that would probably wake your computer is the network.

I believe its the network adapter, so I unchecked the box to make it wake up. Hopefully that fixes it, but if not, I'll be back.

It didn't fix it. There has to be another issue. I did a command prompt and nothing showed up for lastwake, but when I did devicequery wake_armed, I got HID-compliant mouse, HID-compliant mouse (001), and HID Keyboard Device. I don't know why my mouse would be listed twice.

I don't know if this will work for you but it did work for me. I was trying a app that generates white noise. In the power settings I chose to never sleep so the app would run all night. The next day instead of shutting my tablet off I manually chose sleep. Every so many minutes My tablet would wake up. My first thoughts was that because of recent updates I had the no sleep bug that's been posted. I went back into power settings and selected to let the computer sleep in 1 hour. So far my tablet is still sleeping without waking up.
