    How to do check disk

I am having a lot of problems... I lost a bunch of icons from my 8.1 start page, my MS office isn't working... I have to resign in to every site I go to even though it's checked to remember me. I got this message but how do I do this?

OKI thanks. I'll let you know. Oh, I hope so. I don't know how to get to the page you show above. I'm not a pro. Please tell me how to get to these places... it's hard enough on 8.1 to begin with.

I found it by searching for it. It's running now but I'm going to bed. Will view results in the a.m. Thank you and I will return tomorrow and let you know. After this I guess it's computer repair somewhere.
