Backing up my System

I can't find an option with which I can keep a backup image of my system drive in a blank DVD so that if something happens to the PC and I can't turn it on then I'll be able to use that disc to recover the C drive.

I found a similar option in File History > System Image Backup. But the total size of the backup stood up to 25 GB!

So, any suggestion, guys?

Trying to make image backups to DVD is problematic and time consuming, DVDs can easily get corrupted and would serve no use.
Making image backups to the hard drive you have now serves no purpose. If the hard drive fails, you will not be able to restore the image backup.

The best and preferred method of doing this is to an external hard drive.
