I have a desktop computer running Windows 8.1 with two user accounts, mine and my wife's. I have an external hard drive connected to my desktop via a USB cable. I have been able to back up my files to the external drive without any problem but when my wife tries to select the same drive in File History a window appears with the comment "Could not enable File History. The system cannot find the path specified." Yet if instead we connect my laptop and she selects Add Network Location, she is able to back up the files from the desktop to the laptop's internal hard drive without any problem. Can anyone suggest why I can back up my files from the desktop to the external hard drive but my wife can't. There's still plenty of space left on the external hard drive, by the way. Thanks in advance for any help.
