Newbie here please Help-System corrupt files cannot be fix

    Hi sir david. I cant find the local group policy editor in my windows 8 computer.. Really search it on thr start menu but nothings comes up. Please help.

    Press the Windows Key + the letter R to bring up the Run window.

    Type in gpedit.msc & press Enter or click OK.

    Unless your version of Windows 8 does not support it.

    Some versions don't, from my Googling about it.

    If the dism command fails to work, I would suggest refreshing or restoring Windows 8.

    Somebody else may offer a better solution.

    I already did that sir david i refresh and even restored it in its factory settings. But it doest fix it.

    It puzzles me about dism or sfc not working.
    I've never had a problem with them working.{Knock wood}

    May wanna do a chkdsk /f /r - then retry with sfc and dism...

    BTW: David, there is no such thing as being of no help - any good advice to eliminate possiblities always helps...

    Have you tried using Power Shell to run the command ?
