I will Thanks I was not funny at this
I believe you and it's for sure quite a pain in the butt.

I have similar trouble here in Australia with certain things as well, but not only computer stuff.

It was like stepping in a complete different world, when I moved in 2008 from Germany to Australia and I'm still trying to adjust.

hard thing I was asking about the i7 4930k with 2011 motherboard
all people said you are wrong the cpu is 1755 socket
I said what 1755 based motherboard ?? I never heard about this socket it even not exists
and asked about the GTX 780 Ti he claimed that it has 4GB of memory
all sorts of things is wrong because all people buy things like Core 2 duo or 1.8 dual cores (intergrated GPUS)
he has no idea about GTX 660 To Titan
so If I need any thing I must go and locate it and buy it
I never tried ordering online before but thanks good idea
he refused to buy the 4930k claiming that it needs 1755 socket /??

It's still a risk, you never know when some power spike or something can get stuck. Luckily processors slow down or shut off when overheated. If it was an older 4462 Athlon you would be sending smoke signals by now.

As far as I remember socket 1755 is for certain Xeon processors and 4930K is 2011.

There is a sticker to convert 771 (Xeon) to 775 but for 1755 I haven't heard off.

In my 25 years of build and repairing PC's, in the past 10 years or so, I have never seen a CPU "burn up" for any reason. The modern CPU's have a thermal overload built in so if the temps exceed the mas temp allowed, the CPU will simply shut down and not boot up again until it cools down. I don't recommend testing this on a CPU that you need because I don't know what the long term results of such "stress testing" on the CPU would be but CPU's do not simply "burn up" like they used to many years ago.... I hooked up a Q6600 CPU yesterday and forgot to plug in the cPU fan to the motherboard and it booted into the BIOS then ran for a minute or two then shut down. No harm done...

Actually I can hear of very small number of processors dieing at all. Every now or then some gets burned by too high voltage during extreme OC or carelessness. With safeties built into them and MB they seem to be outlasting everything else in the computers. Most vulnerable are video cards, it seams. Nevertheless, I would not play with stuff like heat, some damage does occur every time it's safeties kick in, be it heat or voltage and that may cause problems in the whole machine down the line.
