This Folder is Empty....Folder Takes To Much Time To Load

hey when ever it try to open any folder in my computer its shows folder is empty even it has files in it then on task bar green ribbon runs for some time and then it shows files in folder...this wont be happening someday ago but now m getting this problem...hard drive test shows it is working fine

This is the Windows 8 forum but you show Windows 7 as your OS.

Google Search found some pages about Windows 8 File Explorer being slow:

Last week's updates should have installed some KBs that fixed the problem but that wasn't for Windows 7.


oh sorry i have window 8.1 pro......i would like to mention i have updated windows 8.1 pro for the first time after install two days ago and i think might update caused the system slow is it so?? could this be the reason??
