So check again if you are using the correct drive.

EDIT: You could try first to rename the modified to something else then copy the original to it.
I did try to rename that imageres.dll but i didnt have permission to do that.. So there aint nothing to do so im formating my C: and installing windows again, i will lose my personal files but since there is no way to save them because i couldnt get computer on so i have to deal with it

Anyways, thanks for trying to solve this problem even we could not solve it proper way! Installing new windows will atleast destroy all the files and problems what the virus did

Have you tried taking Ownership of it ?

Take Ownership - Add to Context Menu in Windows 8

I just took Ownership of mine & renamed it with no problems.

    Reinstalling is tedious.

Have you thought about getting something like Macrium Reflect to image your system ?

After you get everything fixed you might want to consider it.

Wait a minute. Before re-installing Windows, Just boot up Macrium Rescue disk, on the bottom left, there is 2 icons, one for Command Prompt, the other is for My Computer, Just open My Computer, Plug in an external drive, browse thru the folders where you have your personal data then copy them to the external drive.
