Hi guys
I bought a HP 15-r003sv notebook two weeks ago with windows 8.1 installed .
I ran SFC \SCANNOW two days ago and received the message " could not fix some corrupted files etc "
I ran the command five times but the same result , so opened Notepad as Administrator and using the Open I managed to open the file C:\windows\logs\cbs\cbs.log and deleted everything , next i ran SFC \SCANNOW for sixth time and I attach the last part of the sfcdetails.txt file ,that is the part with the lines
.... CSI 00000970 [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:36{18}]"Amd64\CNBJ2530.DPB" of prncacla.inf, Version ....etcView attachment details.txt thanks a lot

Then run sfc /scannow again.
That should fix it. :)

I never posted about it but those 2 commands fixed my corrupted file issue as well on my newly activated Christmas present new computer.
