I make manual System Restore points and when I try to use them to restore, it goes thru the motions but ends up saying System was not restored - returned to previous state. I make Macrium Reflect back-ups regularly and they work great - no problems. So, what I have done is turn off System Restore, and rely on Macruim Reflect images. SFC Scannow indicates NO corruption and completes fine.
My question is, should I worry about the fact that SR is not working - or, since I really don't need it, leave it disabled and not worry about it. System seems to be running ok.
