How do I keep a given window a specific size?

    Hello,
First of all, let me thank you all in advance for this Forum and for all of the help you impart to the members.

My question specifically deals with one issue. When I am uploading a photo, a window appears, 'Choose File to Upload'.

This window appears rather small. I would like it to Re-appear permanently in a larger size.

I try dragging the window from the corners and sides, but it always re-appears in the same small size.

How do I make the window appear in my chosen size permanently?
    Thank you.

    Hi,
Im using Yahoo Mail. When I click the paperclip to add a file, that's when the window in question appears for uploading files, or in my case photos. That specific window is the one that will not stay the size I want it to. It keeps opening very small and I am forced to keep enlarging it each time I want to upload another photo.

Ah, OK. I don't have Yahoo mail - hopefully someone else can assist you.

Try this. When you get the window the size that you want, hold down the Ctrl key as you close the window.

Okay... I feel like a complete idiot but for the life of me I can't figure this out in Windows 8.1. When I open a photo in Windows Photo Viewer (or Paint or Picture Library) the bloody photo is really small. The full-screen button on Windows Photo Viewer is disabled. What the heck is going on...

So I was browsing the web, looking for a way to disable the Start background for a certain user (he keeps toying around with windows 8) and other permissions too. Most things I disabled were meant to be used with gpedit.exe, but I used a user Snap-In in mmc.exe. However, I and some other people...
No matter how many times I go to 'View' settings, every time I choose a new window (i.e. opening a folder) I am always met with a small-format window rather than a full-screen, full-size one. I also am met with random lists instead of 'medium-sized icons', which I have opted for and chosen as...
Hi My DPI is currently on 250% and I like it this way. The problem is that the elements of my windows seem too big now and take up too much space. If you open "My PC", the bar with "Name", "Type", "Available Space", etc is too thick. Is there no way to decrease the size of this bar and perhaps...
