Thanks for the offer. By reading that small text at the bottom of my screenshot I noticed the word IMinent which I decided to Google. It turns out (I think) that this is something to do with the "IMinent Toolbar" which is something I'd never heard of - and didn't even know was installed. However, it was pretty simple to uninstall using Control Panel. I'll need to keep monitoring things to make sure it doesn't come back!

The interesting thing is that it seemed to get installed at around the same time that I installed the trial versions of WindowBlinds and Start8 so I'm beginning to suspect that Stardock might be the culprit!!

When used with discernment, Resource Monitor is useful for pinpointing bottle necks and misbehaving processes in cpu, memory, disk and network.

I have Windows 8 and Windows 7 installed on two separate drives and use CoreTemp on both installations to monitor my CPU temps on the task bar. One thing I have noticed is that the CPU core temps run 10 degrees warmer on the Windows 8 installation than on the Windows 7 installation. Thinking it...
Title says it all. Before I installed Hyper-V, Windows shows all 8 threads. . . After, only 1, and VMs were definately sluggish. Has anyone else had this issue or know how to fix it? This Windows 8 pre-release would otherwise be perfect for me as it's the only way I can have Hyper-V AND my internal...
