How long is Windows 8 PC Reset supposed to take?

Title. Resetting(formatting) my PC due to an issue that I posted in another thread which I have yet to solve/close because PC Reset is taking so long. It's been going for atleast 5 hours now and only 55% in, probably wont be done till like 12pm tonight(just a guess).
You can find the other thread on the issue here:

Samsung laptop Windows 8 not starting after System Restore

EDIT:I started the reset around 2pm-2:30pm or so, took till about 7:20pm to finished for matting.

I believe that you will have to restore it back to the original factory image. Even though you don't have the CD, you should be able to do it. You probable have a drive D: on your computer and that would be where the software is located for the factory image. Get on Goggle and type in the name and model number of your computer with the question about restoring to factory image. You should be able to get instructions there.

If we had some more detailes system specs (CPU, RAM, HDD), we could make an estimate of why it is so slow. An Intel Atom or an AMD A4 plus a 5400 RPM HDD can really test your patience.
