    Win8 - Systray/Removing Programs/icons?!?

I have an issue where I downloaded some programs, and "uninstalled programs" the program so they are not on my computer, but their icons still show up as being there, is there a way to fully remove them without going into regedit.exe to do this?

You could try this Notification Area Icons - Reset - Windows 7 Help Forums it will update the registry for you using a batch file. Alternatively you can use CC Cleaner and tick the "Tray Notifications Cache" on the Advanced section.

Go to the link to 7 forums above, and follow the 6 steps after "Here's How". This will remove the old unused icons.
