Macrium Rescue and Partition Assistant Rescue 1 thmb drv

    Hello, I need some advice

Right now I have Macrium Reflect rescue on one thumb drive and AOMEI Partition Assistant Rescue on another. They both are Windows PE programs. Can anyone think of a way to have them both on one thumb drive. I suppose there would be a menu where I would select which I wanted to boot to.

    It seems reasonable.

Just try it & see if it works.

I thought it was reasonable, also...but I don't know how to accomplish this. I was hoping for some advice or be pointed in the right direction.

    I use YUMI for this:

YUMI ? Multiboot USB Creator | USB Pen Drive Linux

Save your boot files as ISO's and add as many as you like using YUMI.

I can boot Acronis, Linux Mint and many others from a Thumb Drive.

Just put both on the same usb.

Unless Macrium decides to format the usb.

Then again once the Macrium files are added, try adding the other files.
The other program might decide to format too.

You might insert both usb drives & copy the files from one to the other.
    That sounds best.

Extract it somewhere sensible, then rt click and run as admin on the RE64v6-runmeasdmin.cmd.

It will make winpe for you and include both Aomei and macrium ( and windows recovery options ) in the same one.

It will offer to make an .iso file. You can do that if you like, then use Rufus to put on a thumb drive. Rufus - Create bootable USB drives the easy way

Or say No to make an .iso file and ( if you know how ) , you can just put the files from the "ISO" folder it creates onto your usb drive.

    SIW2,

Very interested in your solution. I unzipped RE64v6.zip to my desktop and ran it as administrator. Here is a screen shot of the results, any ideas?

There is an issue with win8 dism not being as clever as win7 dism.

    New version:

Not clear to me what the problem is with yours, though. It appears to be finding the GUID but not the actual winre.wim file.

You can have a look at bcd output to see where it supposed to be and check.

Open an elevated command and type:

    bcdedit /enum {yourguid}

Or you can have a look with :

    Reagentc /info
