service host: 100% disk usage

This is my first post in this forum.My name is Ankit
i am using Dell Optiplex 3010 in my office.There are around 40 systems and all have same issue
Config is as follow
Windows 8 Genuine 64 bit
2GB DDR 3
Dell Optiplex 3010

Now the problem is there is one service Service Host: Local Network Restricted it consumes 100% disk usage and computer starts acting.

i have to manually kill this process from task manager around 4-5 times to end it.



Please help me is their any fix for it?

Use Resource Monitor to see what it is.

My guess is that you're using a poor antivirus or have never disabled Windows Search service.

Or even more likely, related to Virtual Memory, because of only 2 GB RAM and x64 system.

I had a similar prob with 8.1 Not 99%, but it was high and causing my machine to run hot. I found a site the recommended disabling windows backup, and it seems to do the trick.
