I am using EaseUs Todo Backup Home. I relocated the installer folder's files from ssd to hd. Do I need to copy the files back before I do a system backup?

I would just do the backup same as before and check the output image file size. Unless you added or deleted a lot of stuff, if the link is followed and the files included in the backed, the image size should be pretty close to the last one made before relocating the files. You could probably get a definitive answer how it handles hard links on the EaseUS Forum

Below is the email I got from EaseUS, so it would appear that my installer folder on my hdd would not be imagieid. Would you agree? I like your Ideal though, it is worth a try. Thanks.

Our product can only include the files actually existing in selected

partition.
