Partition Problem

I partitioned my hard drive in order to dual boot Windows XP and Windows 8. While I was trying to UN-Partition so I could use the Windows 8 half as all my memory, the partitions somehow changed from Primary Partitions, to Simple Volume, I'm not sure what that means. I just need to know how I can delete what's on Drive D: and use it all on Drive C:. Any help is appreciated. Attached is a screenshot of my problem. Partitions..JPG

From Disk Management, you should be able to right click on D: then Delete Volume.
Next right click on C: and select Extend Volume.

You're right! It can get pretty dang confusing when people call things by the WRONG name.

Like calling a desktop PC a "modem". That's an old favorite. :roflmao:
