Re-image failed. 0x80780088

While trying to restore from an image, I get an error:

The system image restore failed.

Error details: The specified list of volumes to recover contains
duplicates.
(0x80780088)

I'm trying to recover windows 8.1 x64.
I googled the error but nothing came up.

Any advise ?

Could you attach a picture of your Disk Management Windows showing the partitions?

I have seen that error, and I believe is caused by multiple System partitions being present in some manner.

If you have 8.1 are you using the 8.1 recovery media?

Edit: When you try to re-image, are you using a Flash Drive, and are you using the check box to keep it from being reformatted?
