Win 8.1 Slow Boot and Startup

    Hello Guys.
I'm Using Lenovo ideapad Y500 (single GT650M version)
    CPU: I7 3rd Gen
    RAM: 8GB
    GPU: Single GT650M 2GB VRAM
    STORAGE: 1TB HDD

After using my laptop more than 6 months it became slow to boot and slow to start-up (desktop settling) and sometimes right-click on a item took 20 seconds. I had installed lot of softwares and games. So I decided to install fresh copy of 8.1 at first it was fast and quicker as it should be. After a day I installed chrome, office 13, idm, utorrent and my laptop became slow as before.
After I press power Button it takes 1m for Lenovo logo to appear (before it was like 5 sec) and the booting process takes very longer than usual. [ Sleep and hibernate are faster like before]

So how to find which software is delaying the boot?

    Thanks in advance
    Arif

You can try this one : Download BootRacer - Test your Windows boot speed
Check also autostarting programs thru "Msconfig" and time to connect to internet.

Thanks for your suggestion. BootRacer is really helpful. I managed to disable some softwares and boot time is improved.

But still Restart takes time (not boot time) the time before Lenovo logo appears and start to boot is very longer.
Even complete shutdown takes time (GUI is turned of within 10 secs but my power light and keyboard light takes much much longer to turn off which indicates full shutdown)

Maybe that is a driver issue, but I'm not entirely sure about that... maybe your PC is wiping pagefile.sys at Shutdown?
My HP had that issue because I had enabled that option, but I don't actually think that is the cause.

Have you disabled unnecessary services at startup??? Having less services at startup will decrease boot time and probably speed up a little Shutdowns. (for security reasons if you're going to disable a service, always put it in Manual startup rather than completely killing it).
    Hope this helps!

Is there any safe list to stop some services. ? I don't wanna disable any vital service.

A strange thing happened while ago, I disabled an Intel app in start-up tab in task manager. Instead of speeding up my boot time it increased my boot time very much. So I had to enable it back for faster start-up. Why is the reverse happening here in my case?

This guy put a very detailed list of all the services that can be disabled on Windows 8.1 and a explanation of those.
Black Viper?s Windows 8.1 Service Configurations

Actually disabling an application to run at startup should give more stable/faster booting times, but sometimes if they are related to drivers it may slow down computers (doesn't happen on AMD chipsets though). You should only enable running at startup the services/apps that you mostly need and that includes toolbars, context menus and other things.

Let me know if those helped a little!
