    Check the BIOS too, settings in it will override windows settings. Some video card and monitor drivers will also do that.

    Bios settings all the same, haven't updated or modified drivers in ages but, I did double check you can change them in ati driver but it changes windows settings. I still haven't had a chance to test it will do tomoz and report back.

    I did that straight away the settings are the same. It may not have been fixed mite have just got lucky maybe computer was doing something so as it wasent idle.
