Regular Maintenance not starting at scheduled trigger

Hello All-

Upgraded from Windows 8 to 8.1 yesterday and all is well except that "Regular Maintenance" in the Task Scheduler, set for 3:00 A.M. started at 5:30 A.M. Trigger is set for 3:00 A.M. every day, yet "Next Run Time" is 4:30 A.M. There do not appear to be any conflicting tasks, and the clocks are all OK.

Never had a problem with this in 8, and the schedule was great since Windows would do it's maintenance and defrag before my backups are scheduled, starting at 4:00 A.M.

Any suggestions?

OK- Think I've solved it. Under Regular Maintenance/Properties/Triggers/Edit/Advanced Settings. the box for "Delay task for up to (random delay)" was checked and set to 4 hours. I unchecked it, and now "Next Run Time" is the same as the trigger (scheduled time).

Did not work last night. I reset the "Regular Maintenance" Task as described above, and although Windows retained the 2:00 A.M. trigger, it re-checked the box "Delay task for up to (random delay)" and reset to 4 hours. So Task scheduled for 2:00 A.M. started around 3:30 A.M.

I had a couple restarts last night, so maybe that's when Windows reset it. Will check later today to see if it has "reverted".

Also note: If you try to adjust this through Control Panel/All Control Panel Items/Action Center/Automatic Maintenance, it will cause the setting in Task Scheduler to revert.

Yes my task scheduler did not keep the settings either. I had checked " wake this pc" and it was unchecked this morning

Last night it ran at the time I set, but also reset/rechecked "Delay task for up to (random delay) 4 hours". I unchecked it again and unchecked "enable" at bottom of advanced trigger settings.
