Need calculator ap on the desktop

I am taking a math course which requires access to a calculator but when I bring up the Windows calculator I have to start it from the search icon which brings up a very nice full screen calculator. I would prefer the older desktop version which I could window to and back.....

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

Go to Start, type calculator, right click the appropriate result, then choose 'Pin to Taskbar'.

    Thanks

Thank you. Also I realize I need to learn more about Windows 8.1. It appears, also, that I can switch between the desktop and an app by going to the top left corner of the screen. Where can I learn more about this?
... and, again, thank you for your time and knowledge.

PayPal Fees Calculator in Free Developer Programs and Projects
I have recently had my first program published on the Windows Store. A PayPal Fees Calculator. It's a very simple, yet very useful piece of kit. If you have Windows 8 do feel free to download it and please do rate it. It's 100% free to download. No ads either. It's a totally non-profit project....
