System Restore

Hey Guys, can you please tell me the steps on how to do a System Restore on my Win. 8 machine. I have the four blue square start button at the bottom left.

Get Macrium Reflect (free or paid) & image all your local drives.
A 64 GB usb drive should be adequate.

  1. From the desktop - drag your mouse top right
  2. Click on the magnify glass [Search]
  3. Type restore in the box and (ensure you are on settings)
  4. Click on create a restore point
  5. Click yes if you get a user account control warning
  6. in the resulting box click system restore
  7. Then either choose the recommended restore point or choose different restore point
  8. Click on the one you want - and then follow the screen prompts

[Steps in red are unique to win 8 - if know vista\win7 its pretty similar after 5]
