Thanks whs. The only bench that looked low was the 4k benchmark. Not sure why? Either way, the SSD is great and makes computing much better!

Mine is aligned. I checked it using this post. Good times and I'm loving 8.1!

Cool. Thanks for that info. Always good to have a few ways to go about checking things. The Link I posted to life hacker is quite similar in that you go into msinfo32 and check the partition starting offset number and divide that by 4096. What's interesting is the link you sent to check this and the way I check it actually both come out to 256 round number.

It only has to divide by 4. E.g. an offset of 64KB is OK. I usually use 1024.

I had to align my drive after installation using Mini Tool Partition Wizard Home Edition. It went smooth and boosted the overall performance even in WEI from 7.6 to 8.1.Here is a snippet from AS SSD

reffering to a SanDisk Ultra Plus 128GB,it was on wholesale for 85 Euros, that should be 115 Dollars.

While I agree that in general the value of benchmark is not great because everybody has different hardware configuration, this may be to some extend additional diagnostic tool for proper disk configuration.

    Your stats.
What I find puzzling is ATTO showing a reading of 552
Samsung Magician only showing a reading of only 349

I have a Samsung Pro and both ATTO and Samsung Magician readings show the same 554.

Actually, he got three different results from three different tests. Simplest explanation would be that while testing disk he was running in the background some app(s) accessing disk.

I would not worry too much about all that measurement data. In real life that means nothing. As long as the access time is in the 0.1 to 0.3ms range, the performance will be all you could possibly need. Transfer rates for large blocks are completely irrelevant because those blocksizes are never used.
