Hi my friends,
I have a issue with my PC. After when I installed Windows 8 PRO 64bit my computer became slow in graphic softwares. For example - I edit picture with Adobe Lightroom, when I start something doing my CPU is almost 100%. When I use Solidworks - easy actions. For example rotating or zooming my CPU is 100% and all movements are very slow. On Windows 8 I cannot do any graphic work. Before I worked with Windows 7 and there weren't any problems.

CONCLUSION
____________________________________________________________________________________________________ _____
Your system appears to be having trouble handling real-time audio and other tasks. You are likely to experience buffer underruns appearing as drop outs, clicks or pops. One or more DPC routines that belong to a driver running in your system appear to be executing for too long. Also one or more ISR routines that belong to a driver running in your system appear to be executing for too long. At least one detected problem appears to be network related. In case you are using a WLAN adapter, try disabling it to get better results. One problem may be related to power management, disable CPU throttling settings in Control Panel and BIOS setup. Check for BIOS updates.
LatencyMon has been analyzing your system for 2:09:21 (h:mm:ss) on all processors.

Reported CPU speed: 3006,0 MHz
Measured CPU speed: 2441,0 MHz (approx.)

MEASURED INTERRUPT TO USER PROCESS LATENCIES
____________________________________________________________________________________________________ _____
The interrupt to process latency reflects the measured interval that a usermode process needed to respond to a hardware request from the moment the interrupt service routine started execution. This includes the scheduling and execution of a DPC routine, the signaling of an event and the waking up of a usermode thread from an idle wait state in response to that event.

Highest measured interrupt to process latency (µs): 9013,963006
Average measured interrupt to process latency (µs): 2,619827

Highest measured interrupt to DPC latency (µs): 6209,300971
Average measured interrupt to DPC latency (µs): 0,817483

____________________________________________________________________________________________________ _____
MEASURED SMI, IPI AND CPU STALLS
____________________________________________________________________________________________________ _____
The SMI, IPI and CPU stalls value represents the highest measured interval that a CPU did not respond while having its maskable interrupts disabled.

Highest measured SMI or CPU stall (µs) 5,791941

 REPORTED HARD PAGEFAULTS
____________________________________________________________________________________________________ _____
Hard pagefaults are events that get triggered by making use of virtual memory that is not resident in RAM but backed by a memory mapped file on disk. The process of resolving the hard pagefault requires reading in the memory from disk while the process is interrupted and blocked from execution.

NOTE: some processes were hit by hard pagefaults. If these were programs producing audio, they are likely to interrupt the audio stream resulting in dropouts, clicks and pops. Check the Processes tab to see which programs were hit.

Process with highest pagefault count: msmpeng.exe

Total number of hard pagefaults 12567

Hi Eincis,

Now, don't take my opinion to the bank but I think that CPU may be a bit old and underpowered for any graphic-intensive program; however, since I do not use any of your software I can't make an apples-to-apples comparison. However, I can tell you that I have no issue using things like WMM, Freemake Video Converter, GIMP, Photfiltre, Photoscape, etc with my G2020 ($49.00) processor. Actually it is pretty fast. So, here's a comparison between my processor and yours. Both are dual core:

Your Intel 8400 - Passmark score is 2,171
My G2020 Intel - Passmark score is 2,822

PassMark - CPU Benchmarks - List of Benchmarked CPUs

It just seems to me like an updated processor might work some magic for you but I can't be sure. Good luck.
