    After it gets to 100% you have to wait for it to finish - It can take up to another half hour when it gets there. Don;t cancel it, just let it finish. Go get coffee, if it is not too hot outside.

    Hello Nemo,

    How long did you let it sit for? Sometimes it may take a while for SFC to finish before showing a message in the command prompt.

    The time it takes to complete a SFC scan varies. If it found any corrupted system files, then it could take longer than usual.

    Does it finish the scan if you let it sit for about a half hour or so?

    You did it wrong.
    What you should see is this when you start the scan:

    Click image for larger version

    You used the wrong directory & left no space between C & /. --- sfc/scannow(wrong) -- sfc /scannow(correct):

    Click image for larger version

    That is the indication you will get after the update that made the SFC think all your system files were unrepairable.

    You need to run the Dism /Online /Cleanup-image /RestoreHealth command.

    Funny, I just ran the command (without the space) and got a message that some of my files are corrupt
