When I've been running certain programs on my computer, I keep getting the message, program has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. This has happened to me in Internet Explorer when I try to play movies, Windows Media Player, Norton Internet Security and when I try to run Windows Experience index. Some programs wont even open. My computer has been running fine since I purchased it 8 months ago. This started happening after a windows update a couple of weeks ago. I've refreshed windows 8 twice, ran a full system virus scan, ran malwarebytes and it found nothing. I also tried sfc /scannow and used dism /online /cleanup-image /restore health to fix component store corruption and fix corrupt system files and also tried gwscan from Hirens boot cd. I generated a system health report and this is what the report came up with:

What is the issue here and how can I fix it.

Have you tried Advanced Startup ?

There is an Automatic Repair option among others.

Im leaning towards reinstalling windows. Ive ran memory and hard disk diagnostics but came up with no issues. Are you familiar with hirens boot cd. Is there anything that can fix my system issues?

What USB devices do you have attached to your PC?

Have you tried to disable all startup programs from the taskmanager's startup and then tried your problem programs?

If that yields no results then goto MSCONFIG and go to services tab, then check hide microsoft services then click disable all services
make sure all startup programs are disabled as well.

reboot

run your programs, if it works then your problem is software or driver,

if problem still persists, then its hardware.

not much left to do, except check your harddrive for errors or viruses, or even a failing harddrive.

Hows your CPU temp?

Ive scanned for viruses and malware and none were found. Ive run a harddrive diagnostic both quick and full scan and found no issues however the problem still persists. I just started up my computer and it booted into windows in less than 10 seconds which is odd because it usually takes about 30 to 45 seconds.
