Power Settings Not Maintained

Hi, I have made a cutomised power configuration for my laptop, which prevents it from shutting down etc, when it's on main power.. It works OK, but keeps resetting itself to the Balanced (default) configuration after a couple of days. Any advice please?

Are you disconnecting the main power at any time?

It may be switching to balanced whenever the power feed to your laptop is interrupted either by loose, faulty, or intermittent connections.

May also switch due to high temperature..
