Hi to all eightforums.
I noticed from some days that in windows 8 pro, the Fast Start-up did no longer works. and windows booting loading and shutdown takes many time, 2 or 3 days before it was fast since I installed windows 8. why is that,? although these option still checked,,

some software or drivers will have an effect on fast startup.

for example. on my computer perfectdisk defrag was slowing down boot process. I disable the perfectdisk program that run in the bootup process and the system speed up.

I have 4 softwares which are starts with windows. power iso, idm, touchpad software, and utorrent, and they probably not disturbing the bootup time,
I figured something and wanted to confirm, that my C: drive is very small, only 30gb and its free space now is only 2gb, and drive bar is Red, is it the cause of slow bootup.? maybe hiber file take more size then that..!! M i right.?

Hello,

You can verify the startup programs are not the cause by simply disabling them in task manager.

You can recover about 4GBs of usable HD space by shrinking you hiberfil.sys from 75% of your RAM size to 50% of your RAM size. This should only be done if you do not use the full hibernate functionality and will leave you enough room to store fast boot information.
hiberfil.sys in Windows 8 and why you should never delete it by disabling hibernation | Next of Windows

My hiberfil.sys file size is set to 50% (of RAM size) on all my machines.

Good luck.

Disable hibernate until you can get a larger hard drive.

Other option to consider that will extend the life of your current hard drive:

Turn off System Restore if not used:
System Restore has always been a mess (from my experience) and, many times does not fix your reported problem. Alternatively, you can do a periodic System Image backup as an alternative method of recovery.

Run without a paging file:
Your specs indicate that you have a whopping 16GBs of RAM installed; yes? If so, you do not need a paging file and there are many that have opted to run without one. In fact, I haven't had a paging file since the old XP days and, even then, I ran without one when I upgraded to 3GBs of RAM. However, there is a slight downside to running without a paging file; in that, your crash dump initialization may fail on boot and you may not be able to capture full kernel dumps. This inconvenience has never been an issue for me personally.

startup program is not the cause, I checked it.
hyberfil.sys taking the size of exact 75% of ram. then why not its works as fast startup as it should be.?

system restore always works for me, so I think I should keep it.
as for paging file, I checked it and came to know a funny thing, the paging file is set on D: drive (next to C) and C: drive is never has the paging file.. :)
and I have 4gb of ram.

You said "hyberfil.sys taking the size of exact 75% of ram. then why not its works as fast startup as it should be?"

My response: "Fast boot does not require all that hiberfil.sys HD space to work so, suspecting that your fast boot issue might be related to your shortage of HD space, I suggested that you could change the size of hiberfil.sys to 50% of your RAM. Now, what that would do is still allow fast boot to function properly (if working properly) and also return 4GBs of HD space for general use. So, instead of having only 2GBs useable, you would now have 6GBs useable and maybe that might a step towards fixing your fast boot issue."
