    Just my opinion:

It's not an error, good. If it's just a warning with no big deal made of the system showing it and you can use all programs without issues then just ignore it and enjoy your OS and laptop.

Anytime when something too serious breaks out (crashes, black-outs...) and you don't know to fix it, only then try the refresh.

    Cheers

    Thanks for that Hopachi.

I meant to say I had already tried a Windows 8 Refresh when trying to solve this problem but that didn't work either, but I really appreciate the advice.

That's the solution for sfc /scannow errors! Just type in Administrator prompt:

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Possible you have to run that 2 times, but if will quite sure fix the sfc /scannow errors. For me it did!

Thread should be marked as solved.

    This command is excellent.
I just ran it & problems solved.

Before running the command SFC showed un-fixable problems.
After running it NO problems were found.
