your views on defrag w8 or 3rd party & how often

In the past i used "MyDefrag" once a month, then in w7 I changed to "Smartdefrag" which ran all the time in the background. Both free software.

Now with w8 has the microsoft derag improved or is itstill better to use 3rd party defrag, I know one called austlogics is popular too.

would you run it manual or auto in the background. what defrag software do you use too.

I use the Windows Defrag both manually & once a week automatically.
It does ok, for me.

I use the same, Auslogics, works great and is fast for me as well.
