File History backup data not in "standard" libraries

I wanted to have File History backup data that is not contained in the "standard" libraries so I set up a library for each volume that I wanted backed up.
I just included the root of the volume as the only folder in the library.
But File History just seems to ignore those libraries.

    Am I missing something?

    Hello Hairy Scot,

You might also see if using Windows Backup on a schedule may work better for you for specific items you wanted to keep backed up.

    Backup Files in Windows 8

    Hope this helps,

    Thanks Shawn.

Having experienced issues with Windows Backup in the past, I currently use the version of Acronis that is part of Seagate Disk Wizard, and since I prefer to keep my backup drives switched off when not in use, I was hoping for something equivalent to Windows 7 shadow copy.
Why oh why does Microsoft insist on replacing something effective with a lesser option?

    Regards
