... and have them stick?
Quick question - I am trying to disable "Animate controls and elements inside windows" as well as a couple of other options in System Properties > Advanced > Performance > Custom for a "regular" Local Account on Windows 8. No matter what I've tried (and that's pretty much been limited to turning UAC off temporarily) I cannot get my choices to last past the current session. The moment I log off, they all revert to whatever Windows 8 thinks should be the default. This (turning UAC off temporarily) worked on Windows 7, but I am unable to get it to work on 8. Any words of wisdom?
Many thanks in advance for your help!
