Solved File History Backup of My own folders

Hi,
I am trying to take backup using Windows 8 File History facility into my External Hard Drive.

As I used to save all my personal data only in E:\Ashok folder and F: total drive just by excluding some folders, I want to take backup of these locations only.

I am not understanding where can I change the configuration to meet this requirement.

Can anybody please suggest me, how to do it?

Hello kakmca, and welcome to Eight Forums.

File History is more of an updated "Previous Versions" feature that was in Vista and Windows 7.


Instead, you might consider using Windows Backup. It'll easily let you select what folders and drives to backed up.

SlimImage GUI to the windows built in backups can add folders to their version of file history. Need to search&download it at somewhere like majorgeeks.com to get access to it.. still beta. its really pretty nice and simple. Does images too.
