Event Viewer - Event Log Online Help
Hi,
I am new to the forum and have searched to see if I can find a fix for my issue.
My issue is whenever I use the Event Log Online Help link in any Event Notification all I get is transferred to this page
Page Not Found
I am new to Windows 8 but I used this service regularly with XP. I don't know if it is a set up issue or if the help is not available for Windows 8 ... I hope the latter is not the case as I am trying to resolve a completely different issue.
Any assistance would be great!

Well, I am still trying to get the Event Log Online Help link in Event Viewer working!
Could someone tell me what their data values are in the following registry entries:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\EventViewer\MicrosoftRedirectionProgram
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\EventViewer\MicrosoftRedirectionProgramCommandLineParameters
My data entries are blank and I am sure there should be something .
Thanks

Still no online help for event log
I was beginning to think it was only my systems that would not find the page when clicking on the Event Log Online Help at the bottom of an item in the event viewer for Windows 8.1. Regardless of the error or warning, it is never found. I can understand it taking some time to index all of the event codes, but how long is too long?
