    Right Click of Doom

I recently obtained a new Notebook running Windows 8. This has made me very happy, since my old Desktop PC was a junker; Had to run with extremely poor performance, and in constant fear of a dead HDD, due to problems with remapped sectors. So getting a new Notebook was, for me, a breath of fresh air.

I'd have preferred to run Windows 7, but Windows 8 has thus far proved to be more than manageable.

However, I now have a giant problem.

After clearing off some of the bloatware from my computer, I'm now having troubles with Explorer. Whenever I right click on a file, Explorer freezes up completely, and I have to restart it, along with the Taskbar. The same thing also happens when I click the 'Share' tab at the top.

Even more unusual, there's no problem with this if I drag the file to the Desktop and work with it from there.

However, often I find myself crashing explorer out of sheer force of habit.

In reaction to this, I am currently running an sfc /scannow, to see if any system files have been damaged, but I am still left clueless as to why this would occur, or how to get Explorer back to its proper functionality.

EDIT: Windows has found no problems with system files.

So my BSOD has be plaguing me off and on for the past few months. Since it's an ntkrnlmp.exe problem I've been unable (thus far) to nail down what driver (if any) is causing the problem. It's pretty frustrating and I was hoping someone here could lend me their expert advice. I've been researching...
Not sure how else I can title this post! I have a new Dell Inspiron 15r as of this Christmas, running Windows 8. I ran the upgrade to 8.1 but I still have a problem with my cursor wanting to "hover click" on links or browser tabs, as well as being stuck in the down position, when I'm not even...
a few days ago I changed the EUFI settings on my pre-loaded windows 8 64-bit laptop. I made the secure boot disabled and made it CSM. Now it wont boot into any OS., no matter what I do. Solved Cannot click on 'New Tab' in Browsers & Mail
When one hovers over one's browser button, the pages that are open are only displayed and no 'open new tab' is displayed. This means that one has to open a page that one is not using (at that moment) to open the browser to then click on 'open new tab'. Have I missed something? I know that it...
Right click in Performance & Maintenance
I have two computers running Windows 8. One of them is working fine - when in a website or app, making a right click causes the screen to show a Windows 8 enviroment at the superior and inferior sections of the screen, allowing me to do some things such as "pin to start", etc. But the other one...
Cannot click or do anything in BSOD Crashes and Debugging
I posted this in general but will post it here as well. My computer will randomly prevent me from being able to click on anything. I can still move the mouse around and even highlight and drag stuff. When I right click I see the highlight box, but it appears a bit slowly. One interesting thing...
