'Open Program' Event

I have a sound assigned to the 'Open Program' event. Every half hour or so, something triggers the 'Open Program' sound but I can't seem to find out what program is opening. I have a custom view in event viewer for the Past Hour but there are no event for the time that this program opens.
Is there a custom view I can create that would capture programs opening. Or, is there some third party software that will do this for me.
