C: Drive keeps filling up automatically

I have quite a large c drive. I keep getting notices that it has almost 0 bytes left on it. I keep either permanently deleting files or transferring them to other disks, then it tells me I have x amt of gigs left
but within a half hour or so, even minutes it goes back to 0. I have done this about 6 times but it keeps
happening. I'm totally bewildered. I even checked the folder where system restores are kept but it only has
    about 47 megabytes on it.

Can someone help me with this please?

Question: How old is this drive?

You need to figure out where all the space is going.. try downloading a space visualization program, like WinDirStat - Windows Directory Statistics and see what is using all the space.

Do you have the Windows 8 File History setup to save to your C drive in your user folder? If so, that might recursively fill the hard drive... Just a thought.

This link describes it pretty well: http://winsupersite.com/article/wind...history-143579.

But if you don't know what it is, it's likely not the cause of your problem.

Hello. New to Windows 8. I've figured out the split screen, which will make my work easier. My issue is with the apps in split screen view. When I have the screen at 50:50 the desktop will fill its half of the split. The app on the other hand seems to only fill about 1/3 of its half. I don't...
Hello! This is an issue for ages. Apparently windows writes zeros by default for all allocated files. Particularly noticable, when downloading with bittorrent, where the app hangs and the hard drive becomes unusable for quite a while. But it's also a problem more generally. Any such allocations...

Win8 not filling screen in Graphic Cards
I recently installed Win8 on an older Sony VAIO laptop. It seems to be running fine, but it's not filling the screen. There is about a 1 1/8 inch black border on either side of the screen (as well as about an eighth on an inch border top and bottom). Since this laptop has a screen that's only...
