    I have a seagate st2000dm001 running on sata 2 port and ahci mode.


    Here is hd tune benchmark results.

    Do solid state disks have temperature problem? I don't see any temperature on the test.

    ... just did a quick search ... ssd's use in the range of .1 watt to 1 watt approximately.

    My ssd has been running for hours. It is almost cold to the touch.

    The ssd is an intel 80gb

    LOL, I thought that'd get your attention. It was taken from someone benchmarking a RAM Disk.

    Actually, I was suspicious of 5 gigabytes per second speed . So I asked since it is impossible even with a ssd.

Had to buy a new harddrive so i put it into laptop and nothing is firing up. I have power lights on and power for battery but it wont start up so i can press f12 to install windows again.
