    Windows 8 Pro bootup slowly

    Hey,
I have Windows 8 Pro and have a problem, when I turn on the computer, after it shows the screen with the logo of Windows 8 loading, after that screen I see a black screen for about 5-10 seconds and then shows me the screen with my user. Why is he not on me right after the screen shows the windows 8 logo loading?
Please help me to fix it fastly, thanks in advance.

The window is showing restart. SO, are you hibernating your PC? Or, do you have a dual-boot setup with Win7 and this happens after you boot into the OS selection screen and pick Win8.

Mine has the second and even then, as soon as I click the Win8 button on the OS selection screen, the Win8 screen comes up. There is no measureable delay. This is true even if I was in Win7 before I shut down the PC.

I do not have windows 7 on my computer, just windows 8.
The problem is that in all cases, even if I turn on the computer when it is turned off and if I do a Reset.
The problem basically is that after the window is displayed with logo and Windus 8 so the transition takes a move to start with my user takes about 10 seconds instead of going straight.

When shutting down your PC Win 8 hibernates kernel and that is the reason why it boots up quickly (Fast Startup).
When you restart your PC kernel is NOT hibernated and all Windows components are loaded freshly. Since Windows must load everything from the beginning boot up (and restart time) is significantly slower than regular shut down/boot up.

    I have had similar problem.
My scenario is that I hook my notebook with a HDMI display + external keyboard + mouse
I will encounter this black screen when I start up only when I shutdown with my HDMI is attached.
My boot time is back to normal when I shut down without the HDMI attached.

    Hope this helps.
But I'm not sure why the HDMI cos the problem.
